American Perfection Basement Waterproofing
was founded here in Des Moines
in 1957 by Joe Gazzo, a local entrepreneur who created the very first, interior basement waterproofing system
in Iowa. A system designed to not only prevent hydrostatic pressure from building up under your basement floor, but also collect all wall water by installing his patented Scubaguard. The fail-proof system that Joe invented is still installed and used by American Perfection to this day with a 100% success rate. Joe was a man with strong family values, believed in hard work, and dedicated customer service, values that this family-owned company still carry to this day.
When American Perfection was founded in 1957, we offered a 20-year transferable guarantee, and simply have never changed that. Since that time, a lot of waterproofing companies have come and gone, many of them offering a lifetime warranty. We believe a guarantee is only as good as the man who writes it.
